Kaleidescape DVD Servers for Luxury Custom Home Cinema Systems....
Kaleidescape are the market leaders in DVD and Music servers. The unique interface allows you to access your films and music like never before and anywhere in your home. The system revolves around a central server which safely holds your DVD's and music. When you insert a disk the system will automatically store the movie and download information such as cover art, movie synopsis and video bookmarks taking you straight to the start of thefilm - no more trailers or advertising again!

In addition to films the server will store your CD collection, again downloading cover art and album information in the background. As you browse your collection the unique interface will reorder the result window to link music by artist and genre - providing a new way to experience your music collection. Each system is designed by us for the customer with future upgrade in mind. Multiple servers can be joined together to create a huge film and music library with the ability to play a staggering number of films concurrently. The system is designed to be incorporated in to a control system and the same interface can be enjoyed on a touchpanel bringing music alive in rooms without displays. Kaleidescape are currently developing a Blu-Ray Disc player which will allow you to enjoy the system with HD content too. We will be contacting our existing customers to organise upgrades (hopefully utilising Kaleidescape's excellent trade-in scheme!).
Two Sizes of Kaleidescape Server
for any size Movie & Music Collection 
The Kaleidescape DVD & Music system can utilise two different sizes of server. Most people start off with the 1U server which is capable of holding 4 x 1TB hard drives which equates to approximately 450 DVD's, 4950 CD's or some combination of the two. The huge 3U server will hold up to 14 x 1TB hard drives which equates to 1800 DVD's, 20,000 CD's or a combination of the two. The beauty of the Kaleidescape approach is flexibility - customers have an easy upgrade path from 1U to 3U servers and any of the servers can be daisy chained together for practically unlimited storage!
