Runco 1080p High Definition Projector and Fixed Projection Screen
For the best picture quality in the ultimate home cinema the choice has to go to a projector and fixed projection screen. The award winning Runco VX22D has the ability to project a 1080p image on to a huge 300" screen (that is just over 7.5m!!). The projector is extremely bright with excellent blacks so you don't need to have total darkness in the room to enjoy your film. The Screen Research projection screen will be acoustically transparent - allowing us to mount the front left, right and center channels behind the screen improving the look of the room and sound staging. 
Bowers & Wilkins Custom Theater 800 Loudspeakers
There can be only one choice of loudspeaker for the ultimate home cinema - the Bowers and Wilkins Custom Theater 800. Designed from the outset to provide the ultimate home cinema sound experience these are the best in the world. These speakers are designed to be built into the very fabric of the room and have dedicated active bass controllers. The system enables us to tune the sound to make the most of the room. 
Subwoofers can be installed alongside each front and left speaker and the low bass channel tied to the respective speaker - this means you will literally feel the bass being steered around the room as explosions happen on one side or another!
Cineak Custom Home Cinema Seating
Comfort in your cinema has to be one of the top priorities - there is no point having the ultimate video and sound systems if you can't be comfortable. Home cinema seating is really a very individual thing as we are all different shapes and sizes. 
We have a huge range of seating available from Cineak and CinemaTech (among others) but for the ultimate we have chosen the Cineak Vedette home cinema chair. One client likened these seats to first class air travel as they are so comfortable - they adjust in just about every way possible to hold you comfortable and allow you to be engrossed in your film. Of course, this being the ultimate cinema they are fully motorised and monogrammed with each family members initials.
Integrated Kaleidescape Movie Server
For the ultimate DVD Server there can only be one contender - the Kaleidescape DVD Server. The absolute best storage device for your films. The movie players will take your existing DVD collection and upscale them to high definition 1080p - allowing your old DVD's to rival Blue Ray! As your collection of films grows your server can grow with you by simply adding disks. We can even daisy chain servers together giving your more capacity with all your films merging in to one seamless collection. The Kaleidescape server is one of those rare products which was designed from the outset to be the best - this product hasn't evolved in to its current specification it was designed that way from the outset and therefore does everything perfectly and is a delight to use.
Crestron Control of the Whole Home Cinema Room 
There are many different touchpanels and remote controls we could have chosen for the task of controlling this home cinema. The brief however is clear - it must be easy to use by the whole family and aesthetically pleasing. The Crestron TPMC-8X is the natural choice - small enough to be passed around yet intuitive enough to allow one button press to perform a variety of functions. Combined with the above Kaleidescape system choosing a film could not be easier - simply tapping Movie can dim the lights, switch on the projector and Kaleidescape system. It is then a simple job of browsing the DVD covers until you find the film of your choice. It couldn't be simpler. We can integrate air conditioning and heating in to the panel to allow you to create the perfect watching environment from the comfort of your home cinema seat. We can even integrate the intercom and CCTV system on to the panel allowing you to see who is at the door and if they warrant pausing your film for!
Lutron Light Dimming and Scene Selection
In the ultimate home cinema a complete lighting control system is a must. Full integration in to the above touchpanel allows scenes to be called at the touch of a button and integration with the Kaleidescape server allows lights to dim when a film starts and rise should you pause for an intermission. Integration doesn't get much better than this!
CinemaTech Acoustic Room Treatments for Home Cinema Rooms
Acoustic treatments are incredibly important in any home cinema and a must in the ultimate. The CinemaTech ARS system allows the listener to pick out directional sounds and speech whilst cutting down on bass boom and unwanted sound reflections. The treatment is available in many different colours and textures which allows us to set the mood in the room at the same time as improving the listening experience. The added benefit is the system can also cut down on sound leakage meaning the whole house hold is not disrupted when watching a film. We use this in conjunction with other techniques and materials (special plaster board and insulation etc) to cut down sound leakage.
